Bunky waits for an off-speed pitch at the Seward little league fields. The infield was a bit rough, but the view was extraordinary.

Luke casts a Mepps spinner into the silvery light of Kenai Lake. We caught a lake trout here, which are very pale due to the lack of sunlight filtering through the chalky aqua waters of the glacially-fed lake.



Caleb and Luke on the beach in Ninilchik, an old Russian settlement. The halibut was probably filleted on board a boat and thrown overboard.



Fishing for grayling along the Denali Highway. The mosquitoes we encountered were big and slow and easy to kill. In open breezy areas, they were usually not a problem.
